The Louisville Writer's Workshop is a group for writers of all levels from any genre. This is a place for writers in the community to come together to critique each other's work and participate in discussions of all things writing, from generating ideas to plot, structure and character development to publishing. The group will be facilitated by Rachel Weaver, MFA.

The Boulder Creative Conferences brings together the magazine and book industries' top photographers, writers, authors, book editors, photo editors, and magazine editors to teach local writers and photographers the art and soul of their craft, as well as how to break into the business. It seems like most writing meetups meet during the working day, and I imagine I'm not the only one who is working during that time. This meetup is for writers and aspiring writers of all kinds. The idea is that we will meet at a cafe in or near Longmont to write for an hour and a half or two, and then if people want to stay to chat about what they've written, get feedback, just say hello, they can stay.
